We have the PROVEN INDUSTRY EXPERIENCE to make your project a success
PSE were commissioned for the electrical design contract of a new college building for the deaf and hearing impaired school franchise of Hear and Say in affiliation with the electrical contractor. Development involved construction of a new two storey college and play group building and an external car park
Lobby and stairway areas were fitted out with a combination of wall lights, wall washers, pendant lights and down lights to further enhance the architectural detail of the interior. Exterior LED car park lights were provided throughout the car park allowing a significant reduction in power usage and quantity of light fittings used
Communications were also an important factor in the development and a reliable infrastructure was designed with a fiber optic data link between existing buildings and new playgroup buildings
PSE was awarded to full design contract following completion of stage 2 of Coomera shopping centre where works were then scheduled to be built.
Project involved construction of a Dan Murphy’s retail liquor store and a tavern fit out. Tavern fit out consisted of gaming room, bistro area, bar and new back of house area.
To match the décor of the architectural finishes, architecturally selected pendant lights were used. To maintain ambience in other areas, LED strip lighting were recessed in pelmets and cavities.
The existing aging Coolum Tavern next to the beach needed replacing resulting from growing population of holiday town in Coolum Qld. PSE was awarded full design and construction administration project for electrical services
Project consisted of demolishing existing tavern and bottle shop and building a new beach housed theme tavern with a full size Dan Murphy’s retail liquor store. Tavern consisted of 2 full size bars, bistro, gaming area, plaza and beer garden.
The challenging aspect of the project was to main sufficient lighting levels, using the architects intended lighting themes. LED suspended pendant lights and down lights were mainly used in indoor areas with strip lighting for purpose of enhancing architectural effects
Exterior lighting consisted of LED flood lighting in combination with bollards, greatly increased lighting uniformity throughout
Project involved development of a beachfront holiday apartment complex at resort town of Mooloolaba Qld comprising of total 58 units and 3 levels of basement car parks. Electrical services design was undertaken on behalf of our client the electrical contractor
As all site boundaries were built against the wall, the challenging aspect of this project was a designing a pad mount transformer and enclosure to fit inside the building with the approval of the electrical supply authority, Energex.
Each room had a different architectural layout and features, to which appropriate lighting needed to be selected for each ceiling and room. A combination of recessed and surface mount down lights were selected which coincided with the architectural design brief of discreet lighting throughout
Project involved a new multi stage residential water front development in Bribie Island Qld. Stage 1 comprised of 3 levels, 2 buildings, basement car park and 64 residential units level. PSE were commissioned for the electrical services design contract.
Development comprised of 3 separate stages. All electrical backbone for 3 stages has been allowed as part of stage 1, involving allowing future electrical and communications infrastructure, reticulation and load capacity forecasts as part of the works. Liaison is currently under way with Energex for installation of site supply.
NBN backbone is also required for future allowance for the site, which includes planning of NBN cupboard equipment spatial at each level of the building. This would enable high speed internet to all units throughout.
LED lighting was designed to all external and car park areas. With use of the latest technology lighting was able to be modelled in software package Dialux, showing a generated simulation of the light output. With the use of this technology, quantity of lights and unwanted glare was able to be decreased before installation, avoiding costly variations throughout the project and providing for uniform and efficient lighting solution.
